Tyga, whose legal name is Michael Stevenson, voluntarily went to speak with police after his former girlfriend, influencer Camaryn Swanson, alleged that he assaulted her, NBC News reported.

Booking records indicate that the rapper was released Tuesday afternoon after posting $50,000 bail.

Meanwhile, LAPD officials told KABC-TV that no one expected Stevenson to walk into the division and very little information will be made public at this point.

“Due to confidentiality, no information regarding the victim is being released,” the LAPD said in a statement.

According to Rolling Stone, the alleged domestic violence incident occurred early Monday morning after Swanson showed up at Tyga’s home.

Swanson shared photos and videos on Instagram in which she has a large bruise near her eye, while she also showed a cuff of her sweatshirt, which appeared to have a bloodstain on it, the magazine reported, noting that she wrote, “I’ve been emotionally, mentally, and physically abused and I’m not hiding it anymore” and “I’m so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself.”
