A New Jersey woman is accused of driving drunk while seven children were in the vehicle and not wearing seatbelts, authorities said.
Paulino Rosendo-Camargo, 36, of Lakewood, was charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane of travel, delaying traffic and failure to use a required child restraint, NJ.com reported.
According to a statement from Lakehurst Police Department Chief Matthew Kline, the incident occurred at 11:16 p.m. EDT on June 5. Kline said Lakehurst police Officer Gavin Cecchini saw Rosendo-Camargo driving erratically.

During a traffic stop, Cecchini determined that Rosendo-Camargo was showing signs of being under the influence of alcohol, NJ.com reported. Officials said the seven children in the vehicle were not wearing seatbelts, the website reported.
The seven children were taken into protective custody until another adult could pick them up, police said.
